Yes! We need to continually raise enough money to grow and provide the best we can for the Players and Cheerleaders. It costs approximately $100,000 to run a Pop Warner Football and Spirit Program. Registration Fees and fundraising are used to pay for equipment, uniforms, referees, EMT and field maintenance, to name a few. We are always looking for new sponsors, so please put us in touch with anyone who may be interested in donating.
We have to order our equipment and uniforms to be sufficiently prepared for our season, so we have a NO REFUND policy. There are some exceptions to this policy, which are:
All refunds are subject to the approval of the Rockingham County Cougars Board of Directors. No refunds are automatic or compulsory. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Rockingham County Cougars Board of Directors.
The practices and games will be held at the Brentwood recreation facilities at 190 route 125 in Brentwood, NH, 03833. For those of you who attended a registration night, the community building is in the same complex. The Cougars program will be on the back/lower field.
The national Pop Warner standard for practice is 10 hours a week until labor day and 6 hours a week after that. The 10 hours a week will be 5 evenings, and the 6 hours will be 2 evenings a week (Tues/Thurs), and Saturday mornings. Games are normally on Sunday.
The season begins on the first Monday in August and lasts until early November. Playoffs can go into December.
We are governed by NHPWFC (New Hampshire Pop Warner Football Conference) and Pop Warner National rules. We have a rule book at the field at all times.
Yes! Fundraisers and Cheer Competitions are typically held on Saturdays. Football games are typically on Sundays, however may also be played on a Saturday.

It is a Pop Warner national rule that each child provides proof of scholastic fitness. Lack of such proof renders the participant ineligible. Further, this allows each child to participate in the scholastic portion of Pop Warner's program. Those eligible are asked to participate in regional and national Awards ceremonies.
Anyone wishing to participate in these capacities must submit an application to the Board of Directors. The Board will then conduct a complete background check before approving or declining an application. The Board may decline an application without comment.
We are looking for volunteers for various activities throughout the season. During the season, the team mom can let you know what is needed. You can also visit the website for other opportunities.
