The RYHC Board & Coaches are starting the roster building process for Fall-Winter '10-'11 RYHC Mite & Squirt teams.

We will skate team/s in the Twin Oaks & Mennen Leagues. As in past seasons, we're asking each RYHC family with birth-year eligible players (Squirt '00 & '01 & Mite '02 & '03*) to indicate their interest in playing by sending a fully refundable deposit of $200 per player no later than Monday,August 16th.

All checks should be made out to: RYHC (important: please indicate Mite or Squirt, player name and birth-year in the check memo line). Checks should be sent directly to: RYHC Treasurer Kevin Tartaglione, 30 Royal Oak Drive, Far Hills, NJ 07931. Questions regarding deposit payments can be directed to: Kevin at kevint@advancerealtygroup.com . Season balances and final payment deadlines will be communicated by the start of the season.

As always, veteran RYHC players have priority on roster spot
placement and we will try to accommodate as many new players from town as roster spots will allow, including potential taxi skaters.

This upcoming season, we are prepared to skate as many as 2 teams per Mite and Squirt level. Our teams will primarily skate a "game only" schedule with limited practices. Our Mite Minor team will have a more extended practice schedule.

As is our general practice, we will not be taking out-of-town players BUT please do communicate to me any out-of-town players with potential interest and they will be considered by the RYHC Board only if spots become available and all offers for roster spots to in-town players have been made.

Coaches for the upcoming season will be announced before Labor Day.

* Players desiring a roster position in the RYHC mite program (especially
those in the '04 birth year) should have completed a Mite C or Mini-Mites program (or) equivalent combination of skating, skills and drills and/or
>hockey camp programs and should be generally ready for competitive play.
>Although the mite level is the 'entry level' of recreational youth hockey, the RYHC expects players to have a basic playing and skating skill set upon entering the program. This standard allows all players to enjoy the game and maximize their respective seasons from a development perspective. If you have any questions in this regard, please feel free to reach out to any RYHC Board member or Coach for further discussion. ###
